Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble worker in Jones County, Iowa. The job is on a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound What we are looking for: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
