Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hartlepool, England. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
