Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
