Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Numan, Adamawa State. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation 6+ years on the tools preferred.
