Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turner in Haakon County, South Dakota. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Rotating shifts.
