Cnc setter-operator wanted in Cheboygan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Cheboygan County, Michigan. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
