Reinforcement steel fixer — Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Orange County, New York. Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
