AC and fridge repair technician — Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Shelby County, Tennessee. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. On a typical shift you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
