Elevator repair technician wanted in DeKalb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in DeKalb County, Tennessee. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
