Site safety steward • Ezeagu, Enugu State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Ezeagu, Enugu State. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
