Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Sullivan County, New York. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Rotating shifts.
