Join our team: we are hiring a body shop technician in Ashland County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement Day to day you will pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line.
