Fire and safety officer — Kolokuma/Opokuma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Kolokuma/Opokuma, Bayelsa State. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
