Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Marion County, Illinois. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Your main tasks: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
