System scaffolder — Powhatan County

Join our team: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Powhatan County, Virginia. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. You will read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
