Great opportunity: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Barry County, Missouri. You will be based in a refurbishment property. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • CSCS card or willing to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
