Lifting rigger — Esan South-East

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Esan South-East, Edo. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting 3+ years on the tools preferred.
