Great opportunity: construction helper (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Oneida County, New York. You will be based on a commercial building project. What we are looking for: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
