Immediate opening: we are hiring a room attendant in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The job is at a busy hotel. Requirements: • Sharp attention to detail and an eye for cleanliness • Basic English/Hindi to read room status and checklists • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines Day-to-day duties: • Sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns • Log lost-and-found items and hand them to the supervisor • Spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points • Deep-clean rooms on checkout and prep them for the next guest • Clean public areas — lobbies, corridors, lifts and washrooms • Restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
