Cnc production machinist wanted in Avery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Avery County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
