Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Arenac County, Michigan. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
