Stainless steel welder wanted in Wheeler County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Wheeler County, Oregon. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
