We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Palm Beach County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
