The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Full-time with occasional weekends.
