Day to day you will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. What we are looking for: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding 6+ years on the tools preferred.
