Health and safety supervisor wanted in Grant County

Now hiring: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Grant County, Oregon. On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
