Now hiring: roofer (Borno State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofer in Kwaya Kusar, Borno State. You will be based on commercial flat-roof projects. Day-to-day duties: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater Requirements: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
