Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Orange County, New York. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage The role involves: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Six days a week, one day off.
