JCB operator — Oglala Lakota County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a JCB operator in Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Six days a week, one day off.
