Garment machinist — Switzerland County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Switzerland County, Indiana. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
