Toolroom milling operator • Essex County, New Jersey

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Essex County, New Jersey. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
