Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Dorchester County, South Carolina. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
