Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble worker in Umuahia North, Abia State. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Own hand tools an advantage • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish The role involves: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels Part-time with flexible hours.
