Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Blackpool, England. You will work on a construction site. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding The role involves fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness.
