GTAW welder — Brookings County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Brookings County, South Dakota. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On a typical shift you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
