Heavy equipment operator — Lancaster County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will be based at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery We offer $30 per hour plus benefits.
