Great opportunity: tailor machinist (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Lancaster County, Virginia. The role involves: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
