Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Humphreys County, Tennessee. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting.
