You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 6+ years on the tools preferred.
