Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Wyoming County, West Virginia. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
