Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Childress County, Texas. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
