Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Dawson County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
