Stainless steel welder — Newcastle upon Tyne

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Full-time, day shift.
