Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Polk County, North Carolina. The job is at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day to day you will work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; check for underground cables and services before digging; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
