Immediate opening: we are hiring a truck driver in Schenectady County, New York. The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card Part-time with flexible hours.
