Metal caster wanted in Scotland County

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Scotland County, Missouri. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 4+ years on the tools preferred. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
