Urgent requirement: we are hiring a deboner in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Six days a week, one day off.
