Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Atoka County, Oklahoma. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Rotating shifts. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
