We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
