Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Jackson County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Rotating shifts.
